ITS France gathers a wide range of key players from the world of transport: transport and land planners, public transport operators, automotive industries, road operators, telecommunication and internet suppliers, research centers and also national administrations and local authorities.
A forum for exchanging of ideas, information and strategies for the various ITS players in France and in relationship with other ITS organisations, ITS France also promotes ITS to state and local authorities and industries.
It organises congresses and exhibitions, training technical days and technical visits related to ITS. It also coordinates ITS task forces on France's strategic ITS plan and issues such as urban multimodal information, telematics and road safety, ITS and logistics and e-Call.
ITS France also participates in the Network of National ITS Associations and promotes the French ITS framework architecture, ACTIF.
It regularly welcomes foreign ITS delegations with the support of UBIFRANCE agency.
