Description & Mission

The main target of the ITS Hungary is to support the main goals of Hungary's transport policy, promoting ITS applications in the transport sector in the frame of a "Public/ Private Partnership”.

 

ITS Hungary is a founding member of the Network of National ITS Associations, and aims to cooperate closely with several Hungarian and international organisations/associations.

Main Achievements The official registration of ITS Hungary was on 21 April 2006, so the activities of ITS Hungary have just been started.
Current and Future actions

- Finalise the work-programme for 2006.
- Participate in the elaboration/approval of the so-called Hungarian National Development Plan (which contains the areas of ITS systems and services).
- Organise workshops, meetings for exchange of experiences and give opportunity for members to introduce themselves and their results.
- Prepare the co-operation between ITS Finland and ITS Hungary and define common projects.
