Description & Mission |
ITS Norway is a non-profit association for public and private entities with a focus on multimodal transport and on improved utilisation of existing infrastructure. The members represent all transport modes; road, rail, sea and air. Our aims are a better transport system and improved position for Norwegian companies in the national and international marketplace. |
| Main Achievements |
ITS as part of the National Master Plan for Transport, research projects, annual national conference, a national ITS framework architechture, 10 interest groups and multimodal use of ITS. |
| Current and Future actions |
Members network, congresses and exhibitions, regional ITS forums, cooperation for research activity, workshops, maritime ITS, ITS as part of investment programmes, hosting ITS in Europe 2011, study trips. |
