4th “On safe roads in the XXI. century” conference

International experts will convene in Budapest 25-27 October 2006 for the fourth “On safe roads in the XXI. century” conference. The annual event, which is partly supported by ITS Hungary, will serve as a forum for evaluating European traffic safety guidelines. ERTICO CEO Arnold van Zyl will also take part and is scheduled to chair the session on ITS.
The conference aims to review the existing working solutions or traffic safety measures successfully implemented in other parts of the world. The programme covers the areas of transport policy, ITS and cost-efficient traffic management system and includes presentations from both regional and international experts. Besides the technical discussions, participants will also have the opportunity to get acquainted with the geographic assets and traffic patterns of Budapest and Hungary, as well as enjoy a delightful social programme.
