ITS UK and ITS Denmark cosponsor European ITS Congress ancillary event to focus on passenger information in rail.

In conjunction with the European ITS Congress 2007, Network of National ITS Association members ITS United Kingdom and ITS Denmark are cosponsoring, along with Banverket of Sweden, a seminar on passenger information in rail on 21 June 2007 from 10:00-16:00. The seminar will take place at the Hotel Hvide Hus in Aalborg immediately following the congress, and will be hosted by the ITS (UK) Passenger Information Interest Group.

The Passenger Information in Rail seminar will demonstrate a broad range of European experiences in passenger information in rail, covering both technical and management issues. The multimodal aspect of passenger information, where rail is one mode, will be covered, as will passenger information benefits created as part of new ticketing investments.
