S-ITS (ITS SLovenia) elects new President

S-ITS (ITS Slovenia) has voted Robert Rijavec as its new president replacing Tomaž Maher who has resigned because of personal reasons.

Robert Rijavec is a researcher at the Traffic Technical Institute, which is a part of University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Civil and Geodetic engineering.  He has more than 10 years experience with road-planning, road designing and applying geographical information system in traffic engineering. In the last 5 years, he has dealt specially with ITS (intelligent transport systems) on the Slovenian roads and tunnels.  From 2004-2007 he worked on many ITS projects as team leader, including The Slovenian national ITS architecture SITSA and National Traffic Management Centre ITS architecture framework.
