TTS Italia elects the new President and the Directive Board

The General Assembly of TTS Italia on the 23rd of May elected Gioacchino Gabbuti new President of the Association.

Dr. Gabbuti is currently the CEO of ATAC S.p.A, the Mobility Agency of Rome, and has been so since March of 2005.  He holds a Law Degree and a Masters in MDA.  Before taking on his role at ATAC, Dr. Gabbuti was the General Director of  the Aquadotto Pugliese S.p.A, from June 2002 to March 2005, and from June 1997 to June 2002 acted as the General Director of the Italian Institute of Foreign Trade.  He was also the President of Breda Menarinibus S.p.A. (which is part of the Finmeccanica Group) from 1996 to 1997.

The General Assembly also elected the new Directive Board of TTS Italia for the years 2008 - 2011. Antonella di Fazio from Telespazio and Fabio Pressi from Autostrade per l’Italia have been appointed vice-presidents. In addition, the Assembly approved the nomination of Paola Carrea from Magneti Marelli and Roberto Balduini from Octo Telematics as new members of the Directive Board.
